Great food, I should say. We seldom finish our food but the serving size was enough and not overwhelming, so we did. Server was polite and pleasant. The ziosk is becoming more and more popular and I think it is an efficient way of working around the wait. It entertains the kids too! I think we are definitely going back.

This store recently renovated from the kitschy theme of past years and into more of a sports bar type of place. Along with flat screens hung to be able to see whatever ESPN (insert version here) is showing to give sports junkies their fix, each table even has a wi-fi console. At first, this seemed to be a function of the going trend in the hospitality business - cater to those who need the comfort of technology in order to coax them out into public to spend their money. But after the last few visits, it would seem the need to have something to entertain the customers is to distract them from the incredibly slow and inept service. This store has been cyclic with service, generally as a function of the overall economy. During the height of Great Recession when even a server's job was better than no job, this place had the pick of the litter and it showed. Service was prompt and professional and what was ordered was actually brought to the table. Now that the overall economy has improved and a less than minimum wage job plus tips is back to being held by young people who have probably hit their career glass ceiling, service is back to mediocre on a good day. Unfortunately, this store has too few good days. It's too bad because the menu has updated from hokey attempts at Tex-Mex, and moved on to trendier fare. But because getting an order to the table before it gets cold, or just getting an order right is more than the serving crew can handle, the new and improved potential is wasted.

So I ordered on their site, seemed simple until it tried making me, make a chili's account. Then stuff got confusing. I ended up ordering two, to-go orders. I tried calling them two times and no one answered. Since I ordered 2 hours in advance I decided to wait and see if they would catch it. They called to confirm that there was to identical orders. Husband went and picked up food. Now I have never had a problem with the chili's in Phoenix. I was excited to give this a go after living so close to it. The portions were super small and the food was cold. They called us at 550 to tell us food was ready when we put that we'd be there at 6pm. Will I order again. No will I go eat at the restaurant? No.

Have eaten here for 4 years until recently. The food was always good until about the last year. The food became hit and miss with the quality. It was to the point we were discussing the meal with the manager that was working regularly. I still love the bar for drinks and the service has never been bad it is just the food quality. If you are looking for a place to have a happy hour beer or watch the game this is a good place for that. If you are looking to eat anything good luck. Even the chips and salsa at happy hour was bad tasting the last time we were in.

Love this place. It is perfect for children. The servers are always nice and get us what we need. It was even great when the chilis in Mesa started using consoles where you can order and play games. We had come back down to Tucson and saw that they had not put out the handheld ordering system yet. The server was very nice and ask the manager if our son could have one before it was even launched their. they even remember our previous orders and bring them out probably.

I love Chili's, we go every year for my birthday. This year we went for my fiancé's birthday. The reason I give this location one star is because of the service. Our server's name was Victoria. Needless to say, her attitude was very poor and she is the reason we did not buy full meals. When she greeted us we asked if there were any happy hour specials and she replied with "no you should've went to Applebee's." Who the hell says that? I guess she was trying to be funny but it didn't seem that way at all. She also made a comment about "not liking the food at Chili's" and she's "only there to get her bills paid." I ordered a blueberry pineapple margarita, she left for 5 mins to get a beer sample and then came back and asked what it was that I had ordered... I thought she had already put that order in?! If you can't remember our orders, keep a book and write it down! In my opinion, as a restaurant employee, you are the face of the company. If you are working for a company, you do not downtalk that company whatsoever. If we come back to this location I will definitely ask to NOT be in her section. Chili's should find a different server that actually wants to be there and won't downtalk their company.

Went to this restaurant on Saturday 7/26/2014. The service was terrible. It took 15 min from the time we sat down to get our drinks. Our waitress took our order and came back 10 min later to ask what was the kids meal we ordered. She got confused because she got our order, didn't write it down, and went to the next table to get their order. We asked her for a spoon, never brought it. And the place wasn't even that packed! Will not be returning to this location!

I think it may have been what I ordered (hamburger) because I've had the other dishes that were much better.

We LOVE Chili's! We usually go to the marana location but were in the area and decided to go to the oro valley location! We always always always get the skillet queso! (our absolute favorite) So we order the queso and it comes out maybe 5 minutes later. We were excited and surprised it was so fast! But even looking at I could tell it didn't look right, it had a sort of a gritty dog foodish texture to it. As soon as I spotted the server (Kara I believe) I told her about it and she apologized and said she would get us a brand new one right away! The manager also came over and apologized and said he would get a new batch going for us. He came over a few minutes later and said it's a brand new batch so it may take a little longer. He brought the new one out himself and it was much better! Probably the best queso we've had. They even took it off the check. Needless to say the staff here is so awesome, polite, and very accommodating. We may even drive the extra miles just to go to this location from now on!

I never like to give low reviews because I realize everyone struggles. My opinion on this restaurant was lower (never at Top of my list) but after yesterday I don't think I'll be back. Ordered off lunch menu and was not great. Asked for avocado chicken sandwhich without pretzel roll and just lettuce. Couldn't do that so I just said no bun. When received the lettuce on plate was old chopped lettuce, tomato was practically frozen and the piece of chicken was half the palm of my hand which is small. Service was slow slow. Drinks were given out wrong, had to ask for refills and waited 30+ mins between French fry appetizer and rest of food. Not great experience

Like any chili's in any town in any state. Place is showing its age too. Servers have always been fast and friendly and the seems clean enough

Great food. Celebrated my 8th grade graduation here. Had the best baby back ribs I've had in a Long time. Also had the molten lava cake for desert! It was great!

Wife and I stopped in for dinner... Service was great and the food was wonderful. The servers were attentive, friendly and appeared to enjoy working there. It was obvious on their faces. Keep up the good work!

I am all for technology, but Chili's just took it to a level that is ridiculous and makes them look lazy!!! Currently, that have small screens sitting on every table which certainly intrigued me at first. It allowed you to view menu items, play games, etc. However, when it was time to pay the bill the waitress turned it to me and said "you pay here"! I said what??? She said read the bill and run your credit card. All I could think of at that point was my elderly father would have had a meltdown! What made it worse is it automatically adds 20% tip unless your tech savy enough to adjust it. Really Chili's?? Is is that hard to run a credit card for the servers? I love technology but this is just plain wrong.....

Last time I went here the service and food were awful. My wife ordered some chips and salsa with the "table-side guacamole" as an appetizer. Most people realize that appetizers are meant to be consumed prior to the main course, but our waiter apparently didn't. He brought out the chips and salsa promptly but no guacamole. He quickly disappeared. When he came by again, I asked him about the guacamole, and he said he'd get right to it. He didn't come over to make it table-side until our main dishes arrived. My wife tried it, and she said it tasted like mushed up over ripe avocados - no salt, not tomatoes or onions added in - nothing. I ordered steak fajitas, and I was shocked what the waiter brought me. As we has putting them down on the table, I could see that the meat was not just rare in the middle but downright raw - it was a dark purple color and cold to the touch. I immediately told him to take it back and cook the steak. He apologized and ran off with the steak. At about the same time, I overheard the lady sitting behind us also call her server back, also noting a raw piece of meat was served to her. Seemingly embarrassed, my server had another server bring my steak back to me. It looked cooked this time, but it was the same steak, so now it was over cooked, but at this point I was just tired and decided to take it. A decent restaurant would have removed said items from the bill, but not Chiles. When I finally got our check, the server apologized for the problems and said he hopes we give Chiles another chance. Ehhh, I don't think so.

I have eaten, at this restaurant, four times. Food has been consistently good. Service both friendly and efficient. Their current promotion, 2 for 20 is a good case in point. You can get one appetizer and two entrees for $20. As an appetizer we had fried cheese. In the past we've had fried onions, salsa with chips etc. I then had Chicken Fajitas (very good) my wife had ribs - OK (Possibly we should have selected a spicer sauce). For Desert we had the Molten Chocolate Cake ( topped with vanilla ice cream under a hard chocolate shell.). They have a full bar and take out service as well.

Food is good but unfortunately the service is Slow. Maybe not the servers fault as she is always busy. But I think she is doing it alone at a busy time!

Hubby and I went to Chili's again. We absolutely LOVE the place. This time though I was a little miffed. Right before our meal was served a dumpy looking female came in with her dog. She looked homeless and as though she had not bathed in a few days. Granted the dog had on a "service dog"" vest. But I know for a fact that you can order those off the internet for about $20. THIS dog was no service dog. It was one of those mangy looking poodle mutt mixes. Now, I know that the restaurant has to allow people to bring in a dog if it is a service dog. But really. it needs to be a REAL SERVICE DOG. I have met actual soldiers and others who REALLY NEED A SERVICE DOG. And for people like this baglady bringing in her yappy dog while others are trying to eat is like a slap in the face to those who REALLY need and use service dogs. There ought to be an office that oversees the registration of service animals just like there are for handicapped placards. Some people will take advantage of any situation they can. As far as my experience at Chili's; the food was great, as always, the atmosphere was great, as always, the staff were all great, as always. The ONLY thing that kept me from fully enjoying my night out with hubby is the fear that I might catch something from this person or her dog.

I do LOVE Chili's for their best Quesadilla Salad! I do like their current promotion 2 for $20 including your choice of the appetizer! This is like a "STEAL"! I was also impressed with the server for providing us the best services and always filled up our drinks. I am giving this restaurant 4 stars!
